Who: Janet Jones, creator of the Vixen Workout, the professional dancer who has also worked with Jennifer Lopez, Usher and Pitbull and former Miami Heat dancer. Best fitness advice ever received: “Get a workout buddy and make it a fun event. If you get bored easily, change it up. If you have fun with your workout, especially with a workout buddy whose company you enjoy, you’ll be less likely to miss your workouts and more likely to commit long term. Favorite pre- or post-workout snack: “Post workout, I love to have a juice with my favorite mix of veggies and fruits.” Favorite workout gear: “To do my Vixen workouts I use American Apparel high-waisted shiny leggings ($45) and a Vixen workout tank ($24) with my Reebok AK sneaker wedge ($80).” Gym bag beauty essentials: “Waterproof mascara and Bobbi Brown’s pot rouge ($27). It’s great for both cheeks and lips.”


Go-to exercise: The Vixen Workout “Boyz” Plyo Sequence (about three minutes, or a whole song) “This is an intense lower body workout and can be done anywhere.”
